Our designer and client or clients work together to create a plan.

It is important that you read and sign this form so that we avoid any misunderstandings and can be left to attend to the important job of planning your garden.

The way we move forward at Landscraft involves the following stages;

• Initial visit at which the client and our designer work out the basic perimeters that relate to your landscape needs.
  
  This may well take the form of an informal discussion but the designer will be attempting to uncover underlying needs. At this initial meeting a basic outline of the job will be formed and a list of the proposed scope of works compiled by your designer. You will be given estimates of both the planning and project cost and will be asked to sign our DESIGN OUTLINE AGREEMENT. These estimates should be within 15% of actual outcomes in both the planning and project costs. Where there is a negotiated variation in the scope of works original estimates will not apply.
  
  If this process is terminated by you before the final drawings are made available LANDSCRAFT will not enter into negotiations regarding the invoice value so long as this value is in line with the conditions set out above.
  
  Following this initial visit, should you (the client) decide to not proceed you will be invoiced for the time spent at that first meeting as per the FEE STRUCTURE otherwise this time will be included in the planning estimate figure and invoiced for at the conclusion of the planning process and before the project begins.


• Second visit for detailed site evaluation.


• With this information the designer will put together a preliminary plan bearing in mind all the points raised during the visit.


• You will then be contacted and the first draft will be considered. A time will be arranged to meet at Landscraft Constructions for review and discussion.


• This may be the conclusion of the design phase or a second draft may be necessary. If so, we will undertake the desired changes.


• When all parties are confident that drawing are conclusive the finished drawings will be made available with a PROPOSAL setting out any further details including costs associated with the projects implementation.

The above stages are not always appropriate as stated and the process can vary depending on the particular circumstances.

In the event of you proceeding with Landscraft a deposit of 50% of total contract value is requested prior to commencement. Further progressive payments may be required during the life time of the project with the balance due on completion. Variations on this arrangement are always considered.

Fee structure for design.

The initial visit is the first step towards the plan. It is invoiced at a rate of $110.00 per hour including GST and travel to and from our office in EAST FREMANTLE.

While we make every effort to find a solution to your landscaping needs we clearly cannot guarantee a result that suits your financial situation or aesthetics in every case. As a result of this we need to make it clear that any time spent on your project must be invoiced for. You are absolutely able to conclude the process at any moment and for any reason.
